Project Description

Living under the polluted sky, where do stars hide at night? Starry Night is an interactive Virtual Reality project that provides urban subjects a piece of starry sky they can enjoy at home, created by Wenqian Hu and Serena Uy.

Main objects in the screen are 12 Zodiac. When users trigger a constellation with their hand, a corresponding piano note will play, and a bigger version of the constellation will appear in the middle. To provide better user experience, besides Leap Motion, the final version of this project uses projection to create a mysterious atmosphere and Arduino to give corresponding LED light for each zodiac.
